Welcome to the official website of PAC

It has been a long time since the Pan Africanist Congress of Azania resolved to establish a website. At last the public and the PAC members are afforded an opportunity to keep track of what's happening within the organisation. This development marks a great leap from the shadows, where the Party has been located for some time, into the public terrain, information wise. No one questions our imposing presence in the history books. However, our major challenge as an organisation is to be part of the future.

History is littered with graves of political parties that resisted change. The world has changed since the PAC founding President, Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe, delivered a historic address when the organisation was born on April 6, 1959. Be that as it may, there are some enduring truths that persist to this day, long after 'Prof' Sobukwe set on sail the ship of freedom.

Those enduring truths are, among others, first: the indigenous African people remain economic outcasts in the land of their forebears.

Second, a mental liberation is still not yet realised as testified by regular and fatal outbursts of Afrophobia, erroneously labelled xenophobia.

Third, South Africa remains an outpost of Western imperialism economically and culturally.

Fourth, the salvation and dignity of the Africans on the continent and in diaspora lie primarily on the unification of Africa coast to coast. Africa under one president. Africa that will not kneel before Western demigods. Africa that will nullify the colonial borders.

These are the enduring truths that gave birth to the PAC. And because they still persist, the organization present-day relevance is beyond debate.

Africa must unite! Izwe Lethu! I-Afrika. Africa is our Land!
